Public Schools of Saskatchewan is pleased to introduce Cathy Cornet, our First Vice-Chair.

Cathy has been a dedicated Trustee with Lloydminster Public School Division since 2009 and brings more than a decade of governance experience to her leadership role. As the parent of three LPSD graduates, Cathy has a deep personal connection to public education and a strong belief in its ability to serve every student.


A passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, Cathy is committed to ensuring that public education systems support all learners. She is also a strong proponent of keeping public dollars in public education, reinforcing the role of publicly funded schools in strengthening communities across Saskatchewan.


Cathy values collaboration with school boards throughout the province and believes that working together is key to ensuring students receive a high-quality education that prepares them to succeed as adults.


Public Schools of Saskatchewan is grateful for Cathy’s leadership and ongoing commitment to public education.
