Our Role in Saskatchewan’s Education System
The Public Section is a section of the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) that is also known as the Public Schools of Saskatchewan. We unite public school divisions across the province to ensure every student has access to equitable, high-quality education.
Ensuring Public Schools Are a Priority
The Public Schools of Saskatchewan (Public Section) is a voice of advocacy for public school divisions in Saskatchewan. It is committed to ensuring that public school divisions across the province are of the highest quality, strongly supported by the students, parents and educational partners of Saskatchewan. The Section is committed to achieving a level playing field within the Saskatchewan educational environment so that issues deemed important by Section members are given a high priority by the SSBA Executive, government and educational partners.
Our Public School Boards Working Together
The Public Schools of Saskatchewan (Public Section) is comprised of 16 public school boards that have united in support of Public Education in Saskatchewan. Together, we uphold the values of transparency, accountability, and excellence.
Member boards include:
