The Career Explorations event held at the Gallagher Centre in Yorkton, in collaboration with Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools (CTTCS), Suncrest College, and Good Spirit School Division (GSSD) brought together over 2,000 students in grades 9-12 from eleven GSSD high schools, two CTTCS high schools, and surrounding First Nations communities for a day of inspiration and opportunity.

The event, held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, was designed to help students explore potential career pathways and connect with professionals from a wide range of industries. This year’s event featured an exciting new addition - interactive booths, giving students hands-on experiences and deeper engagement with exhibitors! Local radio stations were on-site, broadcasting live and inviting the public to join in the afternoon session.

For the first time, the event opened its doors to the general public, creating a space for employers to showcase open positions and for job seekers to explore employment opportunities. From inspiring conversations to practical demonstrations,

Career Explorations was a resounding success. Students left with valuable insights into future careers, while community members and employers strengthened connections that will help build a vibrant local workforce.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the incredible exhibitors, dedicated organizers, and enthusiastic volunteers whose time and energy made this event unforgettable. Together, we are shaping bright futures and empowering the next generation of leaders!
